What is Leadership Redondo
Leadership Redondo is designed to prepare a select group of individuals who live and /or work in Redondo Beach to become future community leaders. The group will embark on an 18-month commitment. Year one is devoted primarily to a curriculum of intensive study about Redondo Beach’s resources, citywide vital issues and residents. During the last 6-months, the group will complete a class project.

Who Should apply?
Applications from individuals, as well as nominations from area businesses and organizations, are encouraged. An ideal candidate for Leadership Redondo is an individual who:
- Is interested in the future of Redondo Beach and willing to help shape it
- Has a sincere interest in seeking volunteer, public office or board leadership roles.
- Is able to commit the time and energy necessary to complete the program.
- Demonstrates leadership qualities in their professional or personal lives.
Program Criteria
- Express a desire to contribute both time and energy toward serving the community.
- Demonstrate prior volunteer and or leadership involvement in Redondo Beach.
- Demonstrate an interest in and a willingness to understand the Redondo Beach community.
- Demonstrate a desire for professional and personal growth.
Tuition
Tuition for Leadership Redondo is $675 and includes retreat expenses, materials, lunches, breaks and graduation expenses.
