Redondo Beach is a city with a past and a future, and both are apparent in the city's restaurants. Classic fish houses sit side by side with ultramodern and innovative bistros with cuisines as limitless as human imagination. Whether your tastes are rustic or rococo, you may dine in the style you are accustomed to. The flavors of the world are here, too: Chinese, Indonesian, French, Mexican, and of course American, from the ribs of Chicago to the spicy seafood of Louisiana are also available.

Our restaurants are spread around the city, some in rather unlikely places; there are wonderful restaurants on side streets, in hotels, and even on top of a parking garage. Some visitors who associate fine food with elegant surroundings are surprised to find that award-winning chefs have opened restaurants in strip malls, surf bars, and in a converted newsstand. Of course, we do have classic restaurants in classic settings, including restaurants that have won top honors in Gourmet Magazine, The Wine Spectator, and the Zagat Guide. We reward all these talented chefs with our patronage, and they reward us by making our City a delight to the senses.
