GO-Biz was created by Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. to serve as California’s single point of contact for economic development and job creation efforts. GO-Biz offers a range of services to business owners including: attraction, retention and expansion services, site selection, permit assistance, regulation guidance, small business assistance, international trade development, assistance with state government, and much more.

SCORE stands for Service Corps of Retired Executives. Their mission is to provide professional guidance and information, accessible to all, to maximize the success of America's existing and emerging small businesses. SCORE’s parent organization, the national SCORE Association founded in 1964, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small businesses nationwide. SCORE is a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration.
